Policy
Earnings policy
How rewards are calculated, when they are credited, and what disqualifies a submission.

What earns a reward
Rewards are paid for original stories that pass editorial review and are published on Story To Earn. The reward rate is set by your membership plan at the time of publication and is shown on the plans page.
Only submissions that meet the minimum word count, belong to a supported category and follow the content policy are eligible.
When it is credited
The reward is credited to your available balance at the moment your story is published, with a matching wallet transaction you can audit at any time.
Nothing is credited for drafts, submissions under review, rejected stories or stories awaiting revision.
What disqualifies a submission
Plagiarised text, duplicate submissions, translations of other people's work, non-horror submissions, and content that breaches the content policy. AI-assisted or AI-written horror stories are welcome when disclosed.
Artificially inflated engagement — such as bot views or coordinated liking — voids rewards on the affected story.
No guaranteed income
Story To Earn does not guarantee earnings. A membership purchase raises your monthly submission capacity and adds features; it never guarantees publication or a return.
