What we publish, what we reject, and how originality is checked.

What we publish
Only horror, paranormal and supernatural stories are accepted — ghost stories, haunted places, urban legends, psychological horror, demonic horror, folklore and true scary experiences. Non-horror submissions are not published.
Both human-written and AI-written horror stories are welcome. AI-assisted or fully AI-generated submissions are accepted when the author discloses this at submission. Folklore retellings are welcome when written in your own words with the source named.
Stories must meet the minimum word count and be written for adult readers without exploiting shock for its own sake.
Originality and AI
Plagiarism is never allowed: submitting another writer's work as your own results in rejection or suspension. AI-written and AI-assisted horror stories are fully permitted — just disclose the use of AI when you submit so reviewers can assess it fairly.
Editing assistance, grammar tools and AI co-writing are all fine. What matters is that the story is a genuine horror submission and you are honest about how it was produced.
Content warnings
Add a content warning for graphic violence, self-harm, sexual violence or abuse. Warned stories are gated behind a reader confirmation screen.
Never allowed
Sexual content involving minors, real-person defamation, doxxing, instructions for causing harm, hate speech targeting protected groups, and content that glorifies real atrocities.
These result in immediate removal, account suspension and forfeiture of associated rewards.
